Middleton Public Library is hosting a dance party in their downstairs Archer Room beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, 12/30, highlighted by a festive balloon drop at noon.   Studies show that 80 percent of New Year's resolutions involve health. Get a running start on your goals at the 20th annual Fleet Feet New Year's Day Dash. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers, as well as the top three in eight different age groups ranging from 12 and under to 70 and up. All participants receive one of the iconic knit hats along with a free post-race beverage, exclusive pint glass, and digital photos. The race kicks off at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 1/1. Registration fees are $40-$50 for the five-mile run and $35-$40 for the two-mile walk.
