Madison New Year

When it comes to celebrating the arrival of the New Year, do you love to dance until dawn or do you prefer low-key time with the family? Whatever you enjoy, you'll find it around Madison with these festive events and activities. 

  • Tiki Time - A Polynesian New Year's Eve Celebration - The Deliciouser, 931 E. Main St., Madison, WI 53703
    Ring in 2025 South Pacific style at Tiki Time - A Polynesian New Year's Eve Celebration. The feast begins with a classic pu pu platter featuring appetizers such as rumaki, Huli Huli chicken, and Zócalo poached shrimp. Other dishes include Wagyu beef crudo, lobster, and whole roasted pig. Opt for Tiki drink pairings or a curated selection of wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. The bar opens at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 12/31, followed by dinner at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $135 plus a 20 percent service charge on food and drinks.

  • Noon Year's Eve Silent Disco! - Middleton Public Library, 7425 Hubbard Ave., Middleton, WI 53562
    The whole family can bust some moves at the Noon Year's Eve Silent Disco! Middleton Public Library is hosting a dance party in their downstairs Archer Room beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, 12/30, highlighted by a festive balloon drop at noon. There is no admission fee for the event, but registration is strongly encouraged.

  • Fleet Feet New Year's Day Dash - Tanner's Bar & Grill, 2259 Deming Way, Middleton, WI 53562
    Studies show that 80 percent of New Year's resolutions involve health. Get a running start on your goals at the 20th annual Fleet Feet New Year's Day Dash. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers, as well as the top three in eight different age groups ranging from 12 and under to 70 and up. All participants receive one of the iconic knit hats along with a free post-race beverage, exclusive pint glass, and digital photos. The race kicks off at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 1/1. Registration fees are $40-$50 for the five-mile run and $35-$40 for the two-mile walk.

  • New Year's Eve - The Madison Concourse Hotel, 1 W. Dayton St., Madison, WI 53703
    Party like a rock star with multiple activities during the spectacular New Year's Eve celebration at the Madison Concourse Hotel. Start with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Grand Ballroom, followed by a gourmet four-course surf-and-turf dinner. Then, it's time to make your way between any and all of the evening's entertainment, including a comedy show, live DJ, and musical performances by Madison's favorite disco supergroup VO5 and classic country with Frank Martin Busch and The Names. Share a champagne toast at midnight and enjoy a sumptuous buffet in the morning. Packages range from $299-$759, with some including an overnight stay in one of the hotel's luxurious rooms.

  • NYE 2025 Piano Bar Extravaganza - Ivory Room Piano Bar, 116 W. Mifflin St., Madison, WI 53703
    You and your friends get to be part of the show at the NYE 2025 Piano Bar Extravaganza. Live music sets the stage for you to sing, dance, or simply sit back and enjoy the fun. The bar will be serving festive cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, leading up to a free champagne toast at midnight. Doors open at 7 p.m., with entertainment running from 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. Tickets are $50, and seating is first come, first served.
